Product Description : Offers a firmer “crisp” feel for natural gut-like playability. Zyex monofilaments added to the outerwrap provide added durability and help reduce tension loss. Multiwrap Live Wire monofibers and Zyex monofilaments with Pearl Coating. I got these strings at the suggestion of a local tennis shop. I've used Gama TNT II monofilament strings (16 and 17 gauge) for 15 years... they're incredibly durable. The pro said these strings have "enhanced feel" AND a bit more "pop". ABSOLUTELY NO on the "pop"!.'Feel strings' give you the 'feel' at the expense of pop. Multi-filament strings in general and these specifically, cause the ball to stay on the strings LONGER, and there's the enhanced feel. 'Pop' and 'feel' essentially, are mutually exclusive, regardless of any marketing claims.I DID get more feel... absolutely...for one week! EEK!Then the outer fibers started fraying, along with an unacceptable amount of tension loss, AND string movement... and I'm not a ball basher. I play moderate 3.5 club tennis.I've NEVER had a string lose it's tension and begin to fray so quickly. If you can afford to restring every two weeks or 6 hours of play, fine.. give these a shot. For the rest of us on a budget, these strings are unusable and overpriced.Additionally, one of the stringers at the pro shop said her son, a hard hitting high schooler, shredded and broke these strings in less than one week. She's also switching her son away from this unfortunate offering from Gamma, who should know better. They make so many good strings! My opinion is... Stay away from the Gamma live wire 'Playability strings'.
