Sewing and Making a I've taken them out on 3, 20 mile vides and they work great. No more numb/ cold hands! In terms of sizing, thought I ordered a large, relieved mediums, and then fit just right.
I wear Crocs almost every day the wedge Sasarri, but these were not true to size 1/2 too big.
Sewing and Making a It pains me to do this but I have to give these boots a one star review. The long and short of it is simple, they are tremendously uncomfortable. I have worn them every day now for about 2 months and though I love the look, the fact they're full grain boot leather, that they're made in the US, their durability, and all the other things that prompt folks to buy Redwing boots-- they are unwearable for more than about 2 or 3 hours. I have worn them on walks around town, pheasant hunting on several occasions, to do woodworking, to my best friend's funeral, and to the office. I wanted to love them. I've had boots that I couldn't wait to put on. These aren't them and now I'm out $300. There is zero cushioning of any kind and no arch support. I am 6'2 and 190 pounds, very active and have alway had very healthy happy feet. These things kill me. My instep has developed sharp shooting pains. Oh, and otherwise the boots fit great! They are breaking in wonderfully.Yesterday I broke down and purchased inserts. This seems a ridiculous requirement for $300 boots and now the leather is going stretch and break in based on how my foot fits with an insert. The good thing is the inserts have helped which is awesome because I can't afford to buy anything else for the next 10-12 years that I was expecting these things to last. They busted my budget and my feet.
